As a member of the Acquisitions team, David works with wineries and vendors to supply our airline and cruise line customers with wines that meet the needs of their respective programs. He comes from a winemaking background with over a decade of experience in wine production in Northern California and abroad.
Following graduation from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, David found his way to the Napa Valley, starting as a cellar intern and working his way up to assistant winemaker. Following several vintages in Napa and one in New Zealand, he returned to graduate school in Europe. David earned a Master’s degree in Viticulture and Enology, studying at both the Montpellier SupAgro and the Universitá degli Studi di Udine. Prior to joining Intervine, David was the winemaker for a small family winery in Sonoma County making Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
