Colleen May

Co-Founder and Board of Directors

Colleen co-founded Intervine in 1991 with Michael Borck. Prior to starting Intervine, she was a founding partner in two airline service companies beginning in 1983 that provided inflight service items including amenity kits, inflight duty-free programs, and wine to the airline industry worldwide. Each of these companies has been recognized in its field for developing innovative strategies and programs that are now standard practice in the travel industry. 

​Colleen has been involved in a variety of philanthropic pursuits including sitting on the Board of Directors of several not-for-profit foundations.  She is a founding donor and committed supporter of Escuela Agroecologica de Pirque in Chile, an agro-ecological school for at-risk high school students. Her philanthropic efforts are currently directed through The May Foundation with a focus on human, animal, LGBTQ+ rights and environmental policy.  Colleen has a Master of Arts Degree in English and American Literature from New York University.
